July 2023 Update

Posted by on Jul 4, 2023 in News and Events | 0 comments

July 2023’s update including AGM highlights.

Well it’s July 2023 and we finally have a new manager – Daniel Farke. I’m sure the whole branch would like to extend a heartfelt handshake to the guy and wish him all the very best.

All we need now is EFL to ratify our new owners and with it confirmation of who owns ER. Yeah, I’m aiming high, but honestly, is it really too much to ask to know who owns the club and who owns the pitch and/or stadium? Seriously? Is it too much to ask?

Anyway, back to the July 2023 update.

Thanks to all who attended the AGM on Sunday 2nd July 2023, and all those branch members who attended the LUSC AGM earlier in the day. It’s been a bizarre end of season and pre season but I’ll digress further in the up coming blog. The branch is about our members. We are a not for profit organisation with all monies made being churned back into the branch with the odd donation to St Michael’s Hospice and the Firestation Christmas Food drive. There is an awful lot of work going into the branch to keep it going year in year out. But, despite all the obstacles being chucked at us, we are still going.

The branch managed to run a bus to every game last season, despite growing issues with away tickets. A number of games ran at a massive loss. Some games broke even due to help from other supporters travelling on the bus, and some managed a surplus. Thanks to all members who travelled with us. Thanks to all those who did their part by securing their own tickets. Some of the trips were long and fruitless but it isn’t just about the 90 minutes on the pitch is it? It is about the day spent with friends and fellow football fans.

Memberships were slightly down last year. But given the cost of lockdown crisis and the ridiculously high energy bills etc. we have done well to be the fourth largest UK LUSC group. Let alone managing to run a bus to every fixture.

The 40th anniversary do was very well attended last year, thanks to all attendees. Our monthly branch meetings are still going ahead, fixture changes notwithstanding.

Branch members turned out in force for the LUSC Annual Quiz held at ER, along with a team from Ripon. It is highly unlikely the branch are ever going to win the quiz. Especially given there are so many questions about Leeds United, but we do turn up in good numbers. Any branch member is encouraged to attend. It is a good event and the pork pies are tasty! You get to meet up with other LUSC members for a chin wag. It’s just like an away day but less people are pissed and there’s no 90 minutes of football to ruin your day. There is also a trophy at the night.

We are still attending the LUSC branch meetings at ER and on zoom, and will continue to do so. Any member of the branch is welcome to attend the LUSC face to face meetings at ER, only branch officials can vote though.

Our members continue to vote in numbers for the monthly Player of The Month. Congratulations by the way to Player of the Season 2022/3 Jack Harrison. Please stay and help us get promotion out of EFL, thank God we stopped you leaving. It’s a shame Klichy got kicked out before we could save him too. We might still be in the PL if he’d have been in our midfield. Seeing as he didn’t mind passing the ball forwards, as opposed to backwards or sideways.

Our sponsorship of Joe Gelhardt was abruptly halted when they sent him out on loan to The Mackems, where he did quite well with some Mackems actually wanting him to permanently stay. During his absence we were given Ain’t Nobody like –  Weston McKennie. Plays with Adams – for the USA. He’s gone back to Juve now, so hopefully we get Joffy back. As soon as I know, you’ll know. That song, by the way, was truly terrible. If the sponsorship price increases to beyond our means, we will organise an extraordinary meeting to discuss what our options are. Unless it coincides with a monthly branch meeting.

Renewal forms have been emailed out to everyone on the emailing list and posted out 1st July 2023. £1.10 for a 1st class stamp! can you believe it? Anyone who hasn’t received one, please email pjmcmanus2011@yahoo.co.uk . Renewal price remains the same as last season, and seasons before. It seems a little unfair to increase it given the cost of living has gone up so much. Unlike Leeds United, we have not put the prices up but promised to give you all some money back if we didn’t stay up. Oh, and only given you another 10 days for you to remember your password and get the refund back.

The website https://www.harrogatewhites.co.uk will continue to be used, as it still a good tool for new members. Anyone who possesses a working knowledge of WordPress is most welcome to join. We still have photos waiting to be put up in the gallery for anyone who can do it better than the GDB.

We will not be running any transport to any of the pre season fixtures. Apologies, we were not aware the trains would be on strike – again. Safe travels to all who can afford the time and money to go to Norway, I’m sure it will be a great, albeit expensive, trip.

Monthly branch meetings will continue to be held on the 1st Sunday of the month, unless we are playing. Our August meeting will be held on Sunday 13th, seeing as we are playing on the 6th.

It took us a long long time, and a dip into Division 3, last time we got relegated. Fingers crossed, it will be a quicker return this time round. I never saw us get promoted last time due to the clownfest that was lockdown. The open top bus round town that was promised, never materialised. We better see it this time round! Oh and I want to see the panda again

January 2023 update

Posted by on Jan 3, 2023 in News and Events | 0 comments

Happy New Year! This is the January 2023 first post of the year. Unfortunately due to the lack of league football in the last few months there hasn’t been much to update you on, but after the storming draw against Newcastle and the predictable loss against Citeh at home, we are back on track with a vengeance.

Monthly Branch Meeting.

The first monthly branch meeting of the year was held on Sunday 1st January with a smaller than usual turnout. Perhaps the result against the Barcodes the day before was to blame, but just a select group managed the short meeting at the Londesborough before the Christmas decorations were taken down.

LUSC Player of The Month for November was Meslier (who has been player of the season so far for me anyway), votes are due in for Player of The Month for December now.

The final figures from the 40th anniversary do have been collated. After the costs of the entertainment etc. have been subtracted, Dep Andy Yates confirmed that £150 has been donated to St Michaels Hospice. A bag of Leeds United / LUSC goodies were also gratefully received at the Hospice shop before Christmas.

Away Games

Despite initially announcing we would not be running a bus to Cardiff, we have now conceded and the bus to Cardiff on Sunday 8th is now nearly full and tickets are still on sale at Elland Road. I think Cardiff are giving us the whole end plus a bit more according to the Leeds United website. I never thought that I would see the day when we would not sell out an away allocation, given our rise into the upper echelons of the PL. I thought the days of being able to pay on the gate at Villa away because no one wanted to go to a midweek away fixture were a thing of the past. However, I think this is more of a combination of post Christmas skintness (including massive gas and leccy bills) and the apathy of Cardiff fans. After all, who wants to go watch two teams who have no interest in progressing into the next round? If someone were to ask me who has the least interest in going through to the 4th round, I would say we are on an equal par, but Cardiff are desperate to stay in the Championship, so I am guessing we will win. Woo hoo.

If anyone has any feedback on away games re stewarding / facilities etc. we are still doing reports for every away game, so please feel free to email any comments (good or bad) after aways so we can keep the Club / police informed.

There are still a few places for Villa away on Friday 13th January, get in touch if you want any travel.

We will aim to continue to try to keep the travel costs as low as possible to help people out as much as we can in the current climate.

A.O.B

There may be an event in early February, please keep a lookout for any details.

We are still doing mailouts and facebook posts simultaneously re aways etc. for those who aren’t on the facebook closed group. If anyone has joined the branch and isn’t receiving these, please can you let us know as soon as possible and we will try to add you to the group. Please note, we are NOT accepting friend requests on facebook for the foreseeable future due to the hacking etc. but we will add you to the closed group when you join up to the branch so you have access to the departure details etc.

Congratulations to the lucky winners of the raffle prizes at the 40th do. I will try to post the pictures up at some point in the gallery. We are having technical issues at the moment.

There will probably not be a monthly branch meeting in February, as we are playing most Sundays. In the event that something important comes up, we will have an informal catch up, otherwise please keep your eyes peeled for any updates on the mail out / closed group.

40th Anniversary of Harrogate LUSC

Posted by on Oct 17, 2022 in News and Events | 0 comments

The branch will be holding a 40th anniversary event on Saturday 19th November 2022 at the Bilton Club (see flyer below).

It was against Grimsby Town on Saturday 28th August 1982 that the current Harrogate branch was believed to be formed. Further details, should anyone want the whole history, will be available from ex Chairman Dave Rowson or The Chairman, if you want to ask them directly.

I believe it was South Kirkby’s Mick Hewitt who suggested to Rousey that a proper LUSC branch should be formed. Something to do with Pynes getting fed up of having their windows put through all the time at aways? Further info probably best coming from someone who was there and sober enough to remember it in it’s entirety. I say sober in it’s loosest form. It’s probably better to describe it as not as inebriated as the next man.

That fateful day that the stand at Grimsby got “reconfigured” as there was a bit of a rumpus. In reality, the terracing got a few lumps kicked out of it, and according to The Fishy, some seats got ripped up and it all got a bit fractious because a few Leeds fans had got into the home end. I’ll put the link in for you to read for yourself. If you scroll down the link, you’ll see that one of the people on the forum has his profile picture as four cans of Special Brew. You don’t see that very often and frankly I’m impressed. It almost puts our picture of a schooner of port (how port should be served) to shame.

https://forum.thefishy.co.uk/Blah.pl?m-1362945262/

The Sunday Mirror reported it as a 2 – 1 win to Grimsby, not realising that the Grimsby winner had been ruled out at the death. Oh, the good old days of newspaper deadlines and rushing to get the news in before going to print the for next day. You young ones don’t know how good you have got it now! It caused quite a bit of consternation to one of the branch members who, on rolling up at work at The Majestic at 6.30am was told by his work colleagues that Leeds had lost. Which raised questions about his sanity….. or sobriety, or lack of both, the day before, as he was sure it was 1 -1 draw. And he hadn’t been drinking Special Brew either.

The 40th anniversary actually marks the formation of the current incarnation of a formal LUSC branch in Harrogate.

Before this there were various manifestations of organised transport to home and away games. Remember these were the days when tickets were never an issue. Not like nowadays. In the old days, (and up until Villa away in April 2018), all you had to do was rock up at the turnstiles and pay to get in. In cash! Lawks a luvvy. Cash! Think of all those virus germs that we were spreading back then actually handing over money!

I am told there used to be a Pynes office at the bottom of Montpelier where you would just pay for your bus ticket in advance and then turn up on the day ready to travel. There was none of this pre match pub stop business. People used to regularly complain that the bus used leave far too early and get to the ground with far much time before kick off, allowing ample opportunity to get attacked by the home fans.

The former Harrogate branch was run by a lovely couple, Malcolm Midson and his wife, June for a time. They ran buses to the home games as Pynes did the all away travel. Apart from a trip to Bolton in October 1978 where the bus went to the game and then went on to the Blackpool Illuminations afterwards, minus one member who spent the evening in Bolton Royal Infirmary. A suspected friendly fire incident from a bit of wall that had been demolished and was being chucked backwards and forwards. The Battle of Burnden Park as it was called by the Sunday People.

Dave Rowson started as Secretary, then Pete Gartside took over for a season, before Graham Ives did his stint. In 2000, the current branch Secretary took over and this will now be 22 seasons under his belt. The branch name changed to Harrogate and District in 1996. You will have to ask Dave and The Chairman about the old Knaresborough branch specifics. Or Dave can do a write up about it.

As a few of the oldies will remember, the branch used to have it’s own fanzine called We Are Leeds. These have all been uploaded onto the website and can be read. Thanks to Steve Abbott and all the other contributors for all their hard work.

Whilst the song goes, “We’re The Wrays bus, We’re the Wrays bus, We’re the Wrays bus, Harrogate”, the branch have used many coach companies over the years. Pynes and Murgys were pre 1996, Wrays is the one which is synonymous with Harrogate, after all they did sponsor our 5 a side team. But  after Malcolm Wray retired, we moved to Eddie Browns. Then onto K and J Travel, who with are still with to this day with Tom and the fantastic team from York Pullman. Jason “you can’t park that here, Sir” and Tim H have all been perfect personifications of Reg Varney / Sandra Bullock / Melvyn Hayes *delete as appropriate. Nothing can compare though, to the original, the one and only, Fast & Furious , Dave Addyman. Vin Diesel has nothing on Dave Addyman. Nothing.

The 40th anniversary event is open to ALL branch members, old and new and we welcome anyone who regularly travelled with us, including the old Otley Branch. We will be raising funds for the branch on the day to help pay for the event and also to help towards the costs of our sponsorship of our sponsored player, Joe Gelhardt, as well as St Michaels Hospice, our main charity.

Tickets are available from Dave Rowson or Andy Yates or via link below:

Further updates will be posted nearer the date

September 2022 update

Posted by on Sep 5, 2022 in News and Events | 0 comments

Update for September 2022 as follows. Apologies for lack of updates in general on here. I’ve been a bit busy!

Monthly Branch Meeting

Thanks to all who attended last night’s meeting. All the LUSC minutes were read through and feedback from the SAB group. Main issues so far are the on going ticket problems.

Tickets.

There are STILL teething issues since the move from Advanced Ticketing across to SeatGeek by Leeds United. You’d have thought by now, things would be sorted but despite the fact that SeatGeek sell themselves as one of the top ticketing platforms in the world, supporting a plethora of global  sports clubs / entertainment venues, it STILL isn’t fully working. If it were me, I would have negotiated something (seeing as Leeds United has such a massive global media presence) and would be asking for guaranteed full customer satisfaction or your money back. I think that is the appropriate Americanism. Sadly though, given the reports of the long queues at matchday at the ticket office, there isn’t much customer satisfaction at this time. Although I am pretty sure that those who told the club that they wanted to “do everything on their phones” are quite happy to stand in the massive queues at the Kop, which snake round to the North East corner fanzone. They won’t be so pleased when it is pissing it down with rain and snow in a Force 10 gale in December, and they are freezing their b**llocks off, but I’m sure the feedback to Leeds will be that it is all fine and dandy, and like DJ Pied Piper and the Master of Ceremonies, they are “loving it , loving it, loving it”. The message from Leeds United is “turn up early to avoid disappointment”, but why would you turn up early to stand around outside in a massive queue? When you do get in early, what choice of entertainment and refreshments have you got to while away the time to kick off? The beer is awful, the food is crap and it’s all overpriced. We’re in Yorkshire, not London. It’s a cost of living crisis, just in case you haven’t noticed. I digress, The Chairman and others had problems with the autocup thing for Barnsley, Taff didn’t get his ST card til the Everton game and Dave from Ripon was refused at the turnstile. Members who have been paid up Gold / Platinum / Silver members for decades, didn’t get their 10 year “loyalty” bonus without having to ask. I’m not even going to go into the problems ordering away tickets, you get the gist. The Club and Seatgeek needed to do a bit more market research before they said that moving away from season ticket cards and into the digital era would be a piece of p*ss. And when the Club said that there would be plenty of help at the turnstiles for anyone struggling to get it, a steward telling people to go to the ticket office – doesn’t count as help.

Memberships

I know it is a pain, but you really do have to fill in a membership form EVERY year. It’s not much to ask. You don’t even have to pay if you are over 65. Just fill it in. The forms already received are being processed and if you enclosed a stamped addressed envelope, you will be getting a fixture list with your membership card soon.

Away games

Same old, same old, re away tickets. As we knew would happen, the “loyalty” bit is being slowly eroded away as there are issues getting onto the ordering bit / basket emptying as the norm. The FFA sales are a nightmare too. Please try to get your own. We will try to run buses to all away games, as that is the main thing about being a LUSC, but it is getting harder and harder. Bournemouth will be a conundrum – we will see what happens.

A.O.B

Leeds United Player Sponsorship

We will pursue re sponsorship of Joffy. No news as yet, but the programme says we are still his sponsor.

Thorp Arch Event

Pete and George Curran and Spencer Tovey and his mum had a grand day out presenting Meslier with his Player Of The Season trophy. We are hoping for another event, keep your eyes and ears open.

Fundraising

There will be raffles to try raise funds through the season. There are a couple of shirts already, one which will be framed. Dave Rowson is going to look into an event during the World Cup for those of us who who want to take a break from watching the football being played in stadia built on the backs of slave labour.

Anniversaries

This year sees the 40 year anniversary of the branch and 30 years of Chairman Charley on September 6th. We will look to do something in due course.

May 2022 update

Posted by on May 3, 2022 in News and Events | 0 comments

Update for May 2022 includes monthly branch meeting and details regarding up coming events.

Monthly Branch Meeting

The monthly branch meeting was held on Sunday 1st May 2022 at the Londesborough Club. Thank you to all those who attended.

LUSC exec minutes were discussed as were the minutes from the SAB. Hopefully everyone managed to renew their season tickets, at least the deadline was extended to the Monday after a bit of fervent emailing about problems with the website. Dave Poole asked that the size of the font used on the scoreboard be raised once again as it is impossible to read it from where he is sat. The point was made that when our new manager told everyone at the LUSC Annual Quiz about the trip to Oz, he probably shouldn’t have. Everyone who attended the Quiz was thanked, see AOB. Memberships have closed, but two new members have already filled in forms for next season. Deputy Yates was reminded that even he has to fill in a renewal form. The two raffle prizes for the hospitality tickets raised just short of £1000. Thanks to all who bought tickets, it will go some way to the cost of the sponsorship of Joffy. We are ok finance wise for travel for this season, and with the help of the football cards etc. it will go some way to mitigate any losses we will sustain for the next two aways where tickets are scarce, Brentford especially. We will look to run a bus to Brentford and share with another branch for our potential final game (!!!). Annual BBQ (see AOB) was discussed and trip to Bradford. There will be no further monthly branch meetings this season. The next official meeting will be the AGM in July (date to be confirmed). The next time we meet up will be at the Annual BBQ.

Any Other Business

Annual LUSC Quiz

The Annual LUSC Quiz was held in the Eddie Gray Suite on Thursday 14th April. Thanks to all who attended. There was a lively question and answer session with the new manager who turned up with his lad. He was particularly helpful with the situation with pre season, even though he wasn’t meant to, and really he could have talked all night but we had to start the quiz at some point before we got kicked out. Our branch plus Ripon turned out a decent showing. Team Deputy Yates, comprising of The Deputy, James Proctor and Ricky Greenwood (Rob Cartman stuck on motorway) did the best of all of us coming 6th out of 17 or 18, with Griffin and Fullerton on form, the rest of us didn’t stick chance. The rest of our teams comprising of Ripon Mark, Jordan and Morro, Smuff and his merry men, Messrs Dargan, Vickers and two others (who we once left behind at an away game and have forgiven us!) and us, Dave Poole and Peter Hart did our very best, but at least none of us came last. Next year, more revising, less drink. Remember, there’s always a question about the superbowl (that’s american football to you and me) and there will be one on some obscure TV programme that no one watches. The Choir? What’s that all about?

Annual BBQ.

The branch annual BBQ will be held on Saturday 28th May 2022. Aiming to open the doors at 2pm and the Chef to start food at 3pm. We will be ordering the usual from Addymans Butchers and Deputy Yates will look to source the vegetarian option from Asda, as well as remembering the tomato sauce. The duck and pancakes with all the usual trimmings will be available, as will the home made coleslaw and, Callum’s mum permitting, a tasty chocolate cake will add to the ice cream and meringues with fruit for dessert. As the “pay on the door” scheme to help towards BBQ costs failed last time, we will just aim to sell as many raffle tickets as possible to help out or people can just donate some money towards it. Please note, you MUST be an LUSC branch member to buy a raffle ticket.

The top two raffle prizes will be a signed and framed Leeds shirt and an autographed Kalvin Phillips boot in a case. The rest of the prizes will also include a kindly donated Ice Hockey family ticket and a Planet Ice ice skating family ticket, various other Leeds United items which have been kindly donated and some alcohol (also kindly donated). Any other donations gratefully accepted. Please let us know so we can put up a list of winning prizes in advance of the day. There will be the usual killer pool and table tennis  tournament, and hopefully it will be a good send off to the season, rather than the Premier League as a whole! We will look to invite the LUSC exec Top Table as usual and see who else we can get as well.

Remember, the branch is a not for profit organisation. Any monies made will go straight back to our members in the form of subsidised travel, Annual Quiz and other event fees, branch costs like postage / envelopes / stationary, prizes for our raffles and next years’ Annual BBQ. Not forgetting the Player Sponsorship next season (if we can afford it).

Bradford

Anyone who can make the do for Tommy and Carol in Bradford on Friday 13th May 2022  needs to get in touch as soon as poss. The branch will look to subsidise travel but we need to know numbers.

Branch AGM

This will be held on the first Sunday of July that we can sort out with the Londesborough. It normally is the same day as the main LUSC AGM. Details to follow. If anyone has any items for the agenda, please note, these need to be received in WRITING 4 weeks before the day of the AGM.

Memberships and Renewals

Renewal forms will be sent out June sometime. You MUST fill in a renewal form EVERY year, even if you do not have to pay for your membership. New membership forms must be returned with two passport sized photographs for your LUSC photocard. It is much easier if you can print and return your form, but if you do not have access to a printer, we will send you a form in the post, provided you tell us. Forms will be available at the AGM or on the bus, but you must fill one in to be a member.

Season Tickets

Now that the club has gone all hitech and digital, (despite the poor reception at ER), we will be expected to use our phones and the QR codes that will be sent out. Leeds United are yet to officially confirm but the feeling is that they will send out emails with the QR code which can be printed off. It is imperative however, if you want us to try to help buy you away tickets, you MUST add us to your friends and family by sending us a request via the new platform. Further info at AGM.

New Members Form

Posted by on Nov 5, 2021 in News and Events | 0 comments

There’s been a recent upsurge in interest in the branch lately and enquiries about becoming a new member.

If you want to join the branch, please complete the attached pdf which is the new members form.

Sign it and post with two passport sized photographs and a stamped, self addressed envelope to the address provided. Once the form is processed, you will receive your membership card and your photocard and free LUSC card wallet.

Any email enquiries, please use pjmcmanus2011@yahoo.co.uk or facebook https://www.facebook.com/HarrogateWhites/

Things to know about Harrogate & District LUSC.

The branch outside a pub

We are an official LUSC branch and abide by the rules and regulations of the LUSC.

If you want to travel with the branch, you will need to become a member. You can join up from wherever you are in the world. Our furthest paid up members are in Norway. The branch is Harrogate and District – Norway is kind of a district. However, you can only be a member of ONE LUSC branch at a time, we are not in the business of poaching from other branches.

If you just want to follow us on facebook, the public page is open to all. The closed group is just for branch members only, and this is where the departure details for away games etc. is. We don’t routinely accept or send friend requests on facebook, nothing personal, just don’t do it. But if you wish to join the closed group once you have joined up, we will message you directly. We do not have any other social media presence.

Please note, we have NO exclusive access to away match tickets or home match tickets.

We do not have a magic ticket tree. If we did, I wouldn’t have so many grey hairs.

We can help you order your own tickets on ticket sale days if you do not have access to a computer / device, but you need to have a Leeds United customer number.

We can only offer a reasonably friendly group, albeit a little sarcastic and cynical at times, who like a chat and a seat (and a sing song) on the bus, if you are lucky enough to get a ticket. The days of the LUSC getting tickets have long, long gone. Most of us enjoyed those times when we had them and are now embittered about the how times have changed. But we do enjoy a reminisce about the old days – at least The Chairman does.

The branch meets every month, normally on the 1st Sunday of the month at 8pm at the Londesborough Club, Bower Road, Harrogate, unless Leeds are playing, in which case it is the next Sunday. All current and prospective members are welcome. The branch regularly attend the fortnightly LUSC exec meetings (alternate Zoom ones). Anyone can attend the exec meetings at ER, you just cannot speak / vote unless you are on the exec of the branch. There is an AGM every year in July for the branch and the main LUSC. Every member is welcome to attend. Every month we have a vote for Player Of the Month, this gets collated and then at the end of the season, the LUSC Player Of The Season gets a nice shiny glass trophy (if we are ever allowed to get near the players again to award them it)

Our branch is non profit, any monies raised just goes back into the branch via reduced coach fares to away games and prizes etc. for our raffles, and on the end of season BBQ.

We do currently sponsor a Leeds United player and any funds that are generated go towards that sponsorship as well. Our current sponsored player is Harrogate’s own, Ryan Edmondson, who is currently on loan at Fleetwood Town. According to the Leeds United programme Joe Gelhardt is standing in for Ryan at the moment on the sponsors page.

There is an end of season BBQ normally which is our main fundraising event. There is also a chance to participate in the weekly football card, again to raise funds, via our Fundraising Secretary, Andy Yates .

The Chairman Charley Megginson and ex committee member Dave Rowson are normally found at the Peacock matchdays. Some of us spend pre match and post match at The Golden Lion in Holbeck, where the steak and chips is excellent!

Dave Rowson is also responsible for the Stan Bowles calendar, which is aiming to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimers Research. Dave has also written a book “We’re not Leeds, We ARE Leeds”, which describes some of our memorable moments from our European days. Branch member Phil Reeves has also written a book “You Are My Sunshine” which describes a cracking few years before the Premier League took over everything. Both available via Amazon or direct from the publishers. If you get in touch, we can give you a cheapness code, as we are from Yorkshire and that’s how we are.

The website is run by The Secretary and the Media and Publicity Officer in between proper (paid) work and running the branch. We are not the quickest to respond to things, but all good things come to those who wait.

The blog is the blog. If you get offended easily – don’t read it. It’s completely independent of everything and everyone. It is just opinion and thoughts. You are allowed to disagree with it, but the MPO will just ignore what you say anyway.

Any further questions, please get in touch. If you cannot print off the pdf, just email us and we will send a form out in the post.

Cheers

MPO
