Issue 16, 1998 George Graham has left Leeds United for one of the toughest jobs in football according to the BBC – Spurs! Don’t get me wrong, he shored up our defence with Lucas, and I bet no one at the time could have predicted what an impact Radebe would be. He bought us Jimmy too, don’t forget.  I would always rather we won 1-0 but played boring football than lose playing well. Bring on Ridsdale at Rome, winking at us when the crowd asked who the next manager would be, pointing to the man on the TV screen, O Leary. Also included in this issue is a remarkable piece from Mr Depth Charge of the Mavericks no less! I’ll be bringing this and the savoury picture to the attention of Lord F imminently

Issue 15, 1998 a year of more European exploits and £15 million for Shearer, £10 million for Stam. The World Cup in France and a Blair Government who promised to look into safe standing at football. The Ridsdale Error/Era and matchday tickets going up 25%. Nearly 20 years on – much changed?
